From installation to translation in about five minutes

If you get stuck along the way, check the FAQ at the bottom, or feel free to contact us directly.

1

Install the Plugin

In your WordPress admin, go to 'Plugins → Add New', search for <strong>Aipogeo Context Translate</strong>, then install and activate it. You can also download the zip package and upload it manually.

  • Requires WordPress 7.0 or higher
  • Requires PHP 8.0 or higher
  • No theme modifications needed, and existing posts are never altered.
The plugin is open-source under the GPL-2.0 license. It works without entering a license key — in that mode, you'll need to provide your own API Key for an AI platform.
2

Enter Your License Key

The easiest way is to click 'Connect to Aipogeo' on the plugin settings page: you'll be redirected to select a subscription license on this site, the key will be filled in automatically, and this site will be activated instantly — no manual copying required. Alternatively, you can generate a key in the Member Center under 'My Subscriptions' and paste it manually into the plugin settings page.

Configure Languages

Add target languages in the plugin's Language Settings. Each language can be configured individually:

URL Prefix
Translation publish path, e.g., /en/, /ja/
hreflang
Language tags and regional variants for search engine recognition
Display order
Arrangement order in the language switcher
Visibility scope
Everyone / Search engines only / Real visitors only

Start Translating

Three methods you can mix and match:

Manual page-by-page
Open the page and click translate, watching the translation fill in real time.
Batch in Background
With the admin tab open, the browser continuously feeds pending pages to the server. Close it to stop.
Visitor-Triggered
Untranslated pages are translated on-the-fly when visitors arrive, or you can set a completion threshold before content is published.
Long pages require time — the model must read the entire text before writing, which is exactly why the translation quality is so high. The interface includes a progress bar and a stop button.

Review Translations

In the proofreading interface, pick a page to see the original and translated text side by side, and edit any line you're not satisfied with. Your changes are saved and won't be overwritten by future translation runs. For words the model frequently mistranslates—like brand names—it's best to add them to the "Replacement Rules" once and for all.

6

Check Your Quota

Both the plugin settings page and the site's member center display the used/remaining quota for the current period. You'll be reminded in advance when the quota is about to run out.

  • Quota is calculated based on the actual tokens consumed by the AI models.
  • Translated and cached pages are not charged again unless the content changes
  • Manual proofreading edits do not consume quota
  • When the quota runs out, translation pauses, and already-translated pages continue to display normally

FAQ

No. Translations are stored in the plugin&#39;s own data table and served under language directories. The original articles remain untouched. Deactivating the plugin restores your site to its original state.
Yes. When translating manually page by page, you decide which ones to translate; you can also stop the batch mode at any time.
Yes. Unbind the original site in your member center, then re-activate the key on the new site by entering it again.
It depends on the number of bindable sites specified in your plan. You can see the bound sites under subscription details in the member center.
Everything works as usual during the grace period. After the grace period ends, new translations will pause, but already translated pages will continue to display normally and will not be taken down or reverted.
Log in and submit a ticket in the member center, and we&#39;ll get back to you as soon as possible.
