These terms apply to the AI translation subscription service provided by Aipogeo Translate (referred to as 'the Service') and its accompanying WordPress plugin, Aipogeo Context Translate. By using the Service, you agree to these terms.

1. Service Overview

This service provides AI translation capabilities through a subscription: you purchase a subscription on our site to obtain an access key, and the plugin submits your content for translation to this service using that key. We use our own AI credentials to complete the translation and send the results back to you, with a specified quota of translation volume per billing cycle — you don't need to bring your own AI account, as AI call fees are included in the subscription.

The plugin itself is open-sourced under the GPL-2.0 license. Using it with your own API key is completely free, fully functional, and does not rely on this service.

2. Account and Access Key

  • Your access key serves as your account credential, so please keep it secure. The server only stores a hash of the key and cannot retrieve the plaintext; if you lose it, please reset it in the member center.
  • Resetting the key will immediately invalidate the old one. Sites still using the old key will need to reconnect.
  • The account holder is responsible for usage costs resulting from API key compromise. If any suspicious activity is detected, reset the key immediately and contact us.

3. Subscription, Quota, and Site Binding

  • Subscriptions are billed on your chosen cycle (monthly/yearly) and can be renewed before expiration. The renewal period extends from the original expiration date, so renewing early does not forfeit any remaining days.
  • Each cycle includes a fixed translation quota, measured based on the actual tokens consumed by the AI model — this includes both the source text sent to the model and the translated text returned by it. A token is the smallest unit of text processed by the model, and the token count for the same content varies by language and model. The quota resets at the start of each new cycle and unused amount does not carry over; failed requests will have the deducted quota refunded.
  • The number of sites that can be bound to each subscription tier depends on the plan description. You can unbind a site from your account and rebind it to a new domain at any time.
  • When your quota runs out, translation pauses, but translated content remains visible and will not be taken down or reverted. You can upgrade your plan or wait for the next billing cycle.
  • After your subscription expires, a grace period applies, during which the service remains fully available. Once the grace period ends, new translations will stop.

4. Payment and Refunds

  • Subscription fees are based on the amount and currency shown on the order page at checkout.
  • Since the service is activated immediately after payment and quota can be consumed right away, refunds for the used portion of the quota are generally not supported.
  • If the service is unusable due to an issue on our end and we fail to fix it within a reasonable time, you may contact us to negotiate a prorated refund based on the unused portion.
  • For duplicate payments or mistaken orders, please contact us within 7 days.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use this service for content that violates local laws and regulations; content that infringes on the intellectual property, privacy, or other legal rights of others; or any attempt to bypass quota metering, share keys with unauthorized sites, or abnormally consume service resources through automated means.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate the service upon discovering the aforementioned behavior.

6. Translation Results

AI translation does not guarantee complete accuracy. This service provides page-by-page proofreading, allowing you to edit any translation. Your edits will not be overwritten by subsequent automatic translations. We are not responsible for any consequences arising from the direct use of unproofread translations — for externally facing content, we recommend human review.

7. Service Availability and Changes

  • We make reasonable efforts to keep the service available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance whenever possible.
  • This service relies on third-party AI providers, whose unavailability may affect this service.
  • Changes to the terms will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date; for material changes, we will notify you via in-site messages or email.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, loss of profits, or loss of data. Our total cumulative liability arising from this service is capped at the subscription fees you have actually paid in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the liability.

9. Termination

You can stop using the Service and unbind your site at any time. We may terminate the Service if you materially breach these Terms; upon termination, the remaining unused subscription period will be refunded on a pro-rata basis, except where termination is due to your breach.
